If your remote is not getting discovered, hold down the home button for ten seconds and release it. Keep on repeating this until your remote is discovered.
Now, if your remote suddenly stopped working despite being properly paired, try the steps listed below.
Take out your batteries from the remote and put them back again. Make sure the connectors and the batteries are clean. Check if the positives and negatives of the batteries are properly aligned.
This is usually caused by drained-out batteries. In most cases, replacing your batteries will solve your problem. If that doesn’t solve your issue, go to Step 2.
