Click on the Start menu > Choose Settings.
Go to Update & Security.
Click on Check for updates under the Windows Update section.

Once you click on the programs from the list, you can see which type of banners will be visible to you apart from some other options to choose from depending on your preference.
3. Allow Background Apps

As the name suggests, Focus Assist is one of the useful features for Windows 10 users that basically turns off the notifications to appear or distract users from their work or study, etc. If in case, it’s already enabled on your PC/Laptop that means you may not receive banner notifications. Therefore, you’ll need to turn it on for sure.
Press Windows + I keys to open up the Windows Settings menu.
Click on System > Click on Focus Assist from the left pane.
Make sure to turn it off and it’s not set to get activated automatically during any specific timeframe. That means turn off the Focus Assist and turn off the timing option too.
